Republicans may still be trying to downplay or cover-up what happened at the U.S. Capitol last January 6th, but the public knows better. The public doesn't like and doesn't support what happened -- and if the GOP continues their present course (and campaigns as Trump wants them to), they could get a nasty surprise in the 2022 elections.
