The following is by Christopher Sharp in The Express:
Speculation continues to mount President Donald Trump’s health after the 79-year-old disappeared briefly from the public eye, with even some conspiracy theories arising that he might have died.
Since claims arose that Trump may have died, he has also issued a statement on social media. However, this has not stopped people wondering about the state of Trump’s health after weeks of worrying photos.
1. 'Struggling to walk in straight line'
When Trump arrived his summit with Vladimir Putin in Alaska last month, viewers noticed an apparent issue.
He seemed to struggle to walk in a straight line, veering left and right as he made his way down a red carpet.
Trump's walking style was noticed by onlookers and observers online. One said: "Trump can't even walk straight." Another commented that he couldn't "walk in a straight line" and that he was "zig-zagging all over the place".
2. Swollen ankles
One of the most visible examples of Donald Trump's potential frailties has been his swollen ankles that were noticed during a meeting he had with with Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa in July.
Trump was later diagnosed with condition known as chronic venous insufficiency by a member of the White House medical team.
In a statement, the physician said: "In recent weeks, President Trump noted mild swelling in his lower legs.
"The president underwent a comprehensive examination including diagnostic vascular studies, bilateral lower extremity venous doppler ultrasounds were performed and revealed chronic venous insufficiency. A benign and common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70."
3. Trump's mystery hand bruise
Whilst the ankle swelling showed up in July, there was more to come less than a month later when he was spotted with a distinct blue and black bruise on his right hand.
When asked about the cause of said bruising, the White House said Trump was in good health and put the occurrence down to frequent handshakes and aspirin consumption.
4. Mystery hand make-up
Alongside the bruise was an apparent attempt to cover it up with some foundation, but this gradually came off.
In a statement, Trump's doctor Sean Barbabella clarified that the bruising was "consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin, which is taken as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen".
He added: "This is a well-known and benign side effect of aspirin therapy."
However, this has not stopped people speculating that Trump could be receiving medical treatment via some form of IV drip or if it could be the result of multiple blood tests.
5. Frail-looking Trump spotted
Following a lot of speculation about his appearance, Donald Trump was photographed waving from inside a government limo as he left Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia. And he appeared more frail than usual.
Writing about his physical state on Sunday night on his social media platform Truth Social, he wrote: "NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE."
However, as his second term continues, there are concerns that soon time and the stress of the presidency could take its toll.
