Channel 11, the CBS affiliate in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, is currently running a poll on the race for the governorship of Texas. Let me say up front that this is NOT a scientific poll. However, it is interesting.
I don't know if Kinky's supporters are just more eager to respond to these little polls, or if there is just more support for Kinky out there than most people want to admit. He does seem to do well in these small polls though. He won this kind of poll in Victoria, and again in west Texas, and so far, he's doing very well in this DFW poll. Here's how it stands at the moment:
Kinky............39%
Perry............25%
Grandma............20%
Bell............13%
I urge you to go to the website and vote yourself [link is in first paragraph]. Come on Democrats, Bell has to have more support than 13%.
Frankly, the way the Zogby and Rasmussen polls radically disagreed with each other when released the other day, I'm not too sure they're very scientific either. Who knows, this little channel 11 poll may turn out to be better than the professionals.
