Somebody's Wrong

Another bit of wisdom from the late great George Carlin. Found at the blog of Yellowdog Granny.

  1. I do not agree.

Given a long enough period of time, we will be dead and our enemies will be dead, too.

    Everybody wins. Or loses...

  2. I wish I had half the skill at communicating TRUTH as the late great Carlin. I capitalize Carlin but would never capitalize g0d, as that would put them on the same plane and g0d aint good enough.

  3. One of my favorite Carlin quotes (that I discovered only recently):

"Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?"

As I just now read it again, I realized that even though it's a very valid (and funny) commentary on human nature in and of itself, it applies in a much more general sense, too: (e.g. Anyone poorer than you is lazy, and anyone richer than you is greedy; or Anyone more religious than you is a fanatic, and anyone less religious than you is a libertine, etc.)

That being said, it takes a mind like Carlin's to come up such a pithy example that nearly everyone can relate to.
