Our Failed Drug Policy
We have already wasted more than $1 trillion on the War on Drugs -- and it has been an utter failure. Why does our government keep following the same failed policy after so many years? Isn't it time to recognize that the criminalization of drugs was the wrong thing to do? Why can't the government admit that drug use is a medical problem, that must be treated with education and medical treatment?
