Spring Bluebonnets

Spring can be quite beautiful here in Texas, and this picture (taken near Ennis, Texas) illustrates why the bluebonnet is the state flower.

  1. Simply breathtaking! One comparable sight, in my estimation, is the blooming each year of the poppies out in the Antelope Valley (high desert) in CA. It is a sea of orange as are the TX bluebonnets a sea of blue. Ain't nature wonderful?
