No Freedom Without Equality
I wish more fundamentalist christians understood this. They're allowed to believe whatever they want. But what they are not allowed to do is violate our Constitution by making laws based on those religious beliefs. American law is not now, and never has been, based on the Bible -- and hopefully, it never will be. Our law is based on the Constitution, which guarantees all Americans equal rights.
