For once, Mr. Duff, I agree with you. However, and you knew there would be a however, in the US the government is us, we the people. We need to get up off of our duffs (no disrespect intended) and make our government work for 'us' again.
I don't but your dictatorial President insists in the name of, er, 'government' that he will over-ride and ignore a legislature that was elected by the people. So it looks as though my original proposition stands!
Dictatorial? You know better than to use such a loaded word for a popularly-elected president. And don't start whining about his using presidential powers to make changes. Those powers are very limited in the U.S. -- and President Obama has done that less than any Republican president in the last 50 years.
ANONYMOUS COMMENTS WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED. And neither will racist, homophobic, or misogynistic comments. I do not mind if you disagree, but make your case in a decent manner.
Silly man! The government works for the government and always has done!

ReplyDeleteWould that be the Republican 'us' or the Democrat 'us'?
ReplyDeleteWhy do you wish to separate "us"?
