Dan Patrick is a right-wing idiot, and most of what comes out of his mouth is ridiculous nonsense -- but he is right about this. If the Republicans lose Texas, they will have no chance of putting someone in the White House. And that day is coming. It may be soon or it may take a few more years, but the demographic changes happening in Texas are undeniable -- and they are working against the teabagger-controlled Texas Republican Party.
