The charts above are from a recent Gallup Poll -- done between May 1st and 13th of a national sample of 1,028 adults, with a 4 point margin of error.
It shows that the public's opinion of Congress is higher than it has been in the last 11 years. The job approval rating for Congress is currently 31%. It hasn't been that high since 2009 -- the last time Democrats controlled both houses of Congress.
About 39% of Democrats approve of the job Congress is doing, while 32% of Independents approve and 24% of Republicans approve.
