The Gallup Poll did their annual survey on alcohol use in the United States. One might have thought that because of the pandemic, the use of alcohol might rise, but exactly the opposite happened -- it dropped by 5 points, from 65% of Americans to 60%.
The survey was done between July 6th and 21st of a national sample of 1,007 adults, and had a 5 point margin of error.
