The charts above are from the Gallup Poll -- done between March 1st and 18th of a nationwide sample of 1,017 adults, with a 4 point margin of error. It shows that only 21% of Americans approve of the job Congress is doing. That disapproval crosses political lines, with 35% of Democrats approving, 21% of Independents, and 5% of Republicans.
