New York Gets A New Governor

Yesterday, Eliot Spitzer made the right choice, and did what was best for his family and for the Democratic Party -- he resigned his governorship. That makes the man pictured above the new Governor of New York.

His name is David Paterson, and he has become New York's first African-American governor. He is also the first governor of that state who is legally blind. For more information on Governor Paterson, I'll refer you to the excellent Dallas South Blog. You can click here and here for the info.
