A Reminder About Social Security

Just wanted to remind you as we enter this new year that the Social Security program is not paid for through income taxes. Each worker pays into the program throughout his/her working life. That means the program is not responsible for a single penny of the national budget deficit or debt. Don't let anyone fool you into believing that cutting Social Security will help balance that debt. That's is just a lie promulgated by those who would like to privatize Social Security, so they can get their greedy hands on it.
