National Poll Averages For 2016 Presidential Nominations
In the primaries held so far, the most accurate predictions did not come from any one survey. It came from the average of all surveys given by the website RealClearPolitics. So I thought it would be interesting to look at what the RealClearPolitics average is currently telling us about what the voters in each political party think about the 2016 presidential nominations.
The most recent national polls (and those included in the average) for the Democrats were -- ABC News / Washington Post Poll, Fox News Poll, Reason-Rupe Poll, CNN / Opinion Research Poll, and the Public Policy Polling Survey.
The most recent national polls (and those included in the average) for the Republicans were -- CNN / Opinion Research Poll, ABC News / Washington Post Poll, Fox News Poll, McClatchy / Marist Poll, Reason-Rupe Poll, and the WPA Research Poll.
These poll averages contain no surprises. Hillary Clinton is still the prohibitive favorite of Democrats, and the Republicans still don't have a real favorite (at least not on the national level).
