Hillary Still Leads Among Democrats For 2016 Nomination
The Gallup Poll is not normally very kind to Democrats. It had the 2012 election as a dead heat between Obama and Romney (which we now know was very wrong). And in fact, their headline in releasing this survey was that Clinton is fading in popularity.
I saw something quite different -- that Hillary Clinton is still the choice of most Democrats, and that is true across the board. In fact, I suspect her numbers are probably even better than this poll shows -- as every other poll shows.
This survey was done on April 3rd and 4th of a random national sample of 462 Democrats (and Democratic leaners), and has a margin of error of 4 points.
