Preference Of Arizona Voters For Party Nominations

I believe this is the first time we have heard from Arizona voters on who they would like to see nominated for president in 2016. Public Policy Polling randomly queried 300 Republican and 268 Democratic primary voters between May 1st and 3rd. The margin of error for Republicans is 5.7 points and for Democrats is 6.0 points.

It seems that the voters in Arizona are pretty much in tune with the voters in the other states polled so far. The Democrats show a significant majority of 58% supporting Hillary Clinton, with Sanders in second place with 16%. Now one else is close to either of them.

As for the Republicans, Walker has a small lead with 16%. But there are five more candidates within 7 points or less of Walker (four of them within the survey's margin of error). That means, like the other states, there is no real leader among the Republican candidates in Arizona.
