Who Does Public Think Can Win The 2016 General Election ?

We still have a year to go before the 2016 general election, and anything could happen to change things in that year. But I found this poll interesting. It shows who the public thinks has the best chance to be elected as our next president. Hillary Clinton is that candidate -- by far, with 75% of the public saying she could win. Donald Trump and Jeb Bush finish second, with 48% saying they could win. Bernie Sanders is fourth with 44%, and Ben Carson is fifth with 41%. No one else had more than a 34% chance according to current public opinion.

This chart reflects the results of a new AP-GfK Poll -- done between October 15th and 19th of a random national sample of 1,027 adults, with a 3.3 point margin of error.
