New YouGov Poll On National Presidential Preference

These charts reflect the presidential preferences in the new YouGov Poll -- dome between December 30th and January 6th of a random national sample of 630 Democrats and 449 Republicans. No margin of error was given for just Democrats or Republicans.

The results are not surprising. Hillary Clinton has a solid majority support among Democrats, and Donald Trump continues to be the leading Republican candidate (although he has yet to demonstrate he can get majority support).

One thing I found interesting was who the members of the other party wanted to see win the Democratic and Republican nominations. Republicans would prefer to have their candidate run again Bernie Sanders or Martin O'Malley, while Democrats seem to be happy to run against the GOP frontrunner (Trump).
