Any Candidate With Good Ideas To Solve U.S. Problems ?

I found this poll interesting, and thought you might also. It is a Gallup Poll -- last taken between June 1st and 5th of a random national sample of 1,027 adults, with a margin of error of 4 points. The margin of error for each political groups is 6 points.

They asked respondents in each of the last few months if there was a presidential candidate who had some good ideas for solving this nation's problems. Note that the numbers for Republicans and Democrats have been moving in the opposite direction.

In January, about 61% of Republicans thought a candidate had some good ideas, but now only 46% say that -- a 15 point drop. In January, about 40% of Democrats thought there was a candidate with good ideas, but now that numbers is 58% -- a rise of 18 points. It seems that while Democrats are becoming comfortable with their nominee (Clinton), Republicans are not feeling the same way about their nominee (Trump).
