The good folks at PolitiFact have checked on the truthfulness of presidential candidate statements since the candidates formally declared their candidacy. On June 29th, they released their results -- rating candidate statements as true, mostly true, half true, mostly false, false, and pants on fire (ridiculously false).
The chart above shows the statements checked of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, from the time they announced through the primary season. While the media loves to talk about how people view Hillary Clinton as being dishonest, the truth is that Donald Trump is the most dishonest -- by a significant amount.
