Trump's Position On Immigration Will Not Help Him In Election

The charts above are from a recent Gallup Poll -- done between June 7th and July 1st of a random national sample of 3,270 adults, with a margin of error of 3 points.

Donald Trump's anti-Hispanic and anti-immigrant stands may have served him well in winning over teabaggers in the Republican primaries, but as these charts illustrate, those stances will not help him win the White House in November.

It turns out that 84% of U.S. adults think there should be a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, 66% are opposed to building a way between the U.S. and Mexico, and 66% oppose trying to deport all undocumented immigrants.
