Another Presidential 50-State Survey Has Been Released

A few days ago, I brought you the results of the Washington Post survey of all 50 states regarding the presidential race. Now another 50 state survey has been released. This time it's by Morning Consult. They took the answers of 18,000 respondents from the 50 states in August, and did some demographic adjusting to come up with their numbers (which are reflected in the charts below.

Their survey of the states showed Hillary Clinton currently with 321 electoral votes (51 votes more than she needs to be elected president) and Donald Trump with 195 electoral votes (75 votes short of the number he needs).

I'm not sure I agree with the results they've come up with for all states. For instance, they have New Mexico listed as leaning Republican. Most other polls show New Mexico leaning toward Democrats. But it's an interesting snapshot of the current situation, and it highlights the problem Trump is having in finding a path to victory.
