An Eighth Poll Shows Public Thinks Clinton Won Debate

The chart above is from the new ABC News / Washington Post Poll -- done between September 28th and 30th of a random national sample of 630 adults, with a 5 point margin of error. It shows that not only does the public think Clinton won the debate by a large margin, but Trump dropped some in his favorable rating. Currently, Trump has a net favorable rating of -30, while Clinton's is only -8.

Here are the results of the eight polls showing who the public thinks won the first presidential debate (with Clinton's number being the first and Trump's the second):

ABC / Washington Post Poll (53% to 18%)

Fox News Poll (57% to 19%)

Gallup Poll (61% to 27%)

Politico / Morning Consult Poll (49% to 26%)

NBC News / SurveyMonkey Poll (52% to 21%)

Public Policy Polling survey (51% to 40%)

YouGov Poll (57% to 30%)

CNN Poll (67% to 27%)
