From the Cook Political Report. In the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton got 2,554,576 more votes nationwide than Donald Trump got -- and yet Trump will be sworn in as our next president in January. That is unjustifiable, and it's undemocratic. We must get rid of our archaic and unfair electoral college -- and return our country to a democracy (where the winner is the person who gets the most votes).
The silly electoral college system means that our corporate masters don't need to buy the votes of people in all 50 states (which even they could not afford to do), but only in a few "swing states". That's not democracy -- it's plutocracy.
