Hate Groups Infiltrate U.S. Military

In its July 7th news release, the Southern Poverty Law Center tells us, "Large numbers of potentially violent neo-nazis, skinheads and other white supremacists are now learning the art of warfare in the armed forces." According to the SPLC, Defense Department investigators admit that thousands of soldiers in just the army are in gangs or participate in extremist activities. One investigator admitted, "We've got Aryan Nations graffitti in Baghdad."

Mark Potok, director of SPLC's Intelligence Project, says, "Neo-nazi groups and other extremists are joining the military in large numbers so they can get the best training in the world on weapons, combat tactics and explosives. We should consider this a major security threat, because these people are motivated by an ideology that calls for race war and revolution. Any one of them could turn out to be the next Timothy McVeigh."

They have a good point. It is stupid for us to train our own home-grown terrorists in the art of warfare. We know these people hate our government, our constitution, and most of our population. Georgie will have to accept the blame for this. He started a war we had no business in and then screwed up the operation of the war. We are now in the middle of a civil war, with no clue how to get out of it. The majority of the people are against the war. It's no wonder that the military cannot meet its quotas. But an inability to meet quotas is no reason to accept this kind of trash into our military.

We need to understand that accepting the hate groups into the military and training them is more dangerous than just withdrawing from Iraq. We do not need the problem of home-grown terrorist military groups with excellent training and tactics. This training of the "haters" is simply creating future disasters like Oklahoma City.

It also has another really bad effect. We are sending racists to keep the peace in Iraq. Is it any wonder that atrocities are being committed? You cannot send "haters" somewhere and expect them to spread love and peace. It just doesn't work that way. When these racists commit a criminal act in Iraq, it smears our good soldiers and our nation as a whole. Georgie needs to get out of Iraq, and get these fools out of our military. Otherwise, we are just inviting disaster.
