Americans love to talk about how socialism is a terrible thing, and they would never participate in that kind of thing. But all of the above programs, good programs, are socialist programs run by the government. What's crazy is that many of the people participating in and receiving benefits from these programs deny that they participate in a government social programs. The number on the right is the percentage of participants who say they don't get help from a government program. This is amazing to me. Do they think these programs are run by free market fairies? From a study done at Cornell University.
