Burning Water

I can't count the number of times I've heard the gas companies (and their Republican lackeys) claim that "fracking" (the practice of pumping hazardous chemicals into the ground to force up natural gas) is perfectly safe -- and won't contaminate the ground or the water in that ground. That is a lie. The above picture was taken in Granville Summitt, Pennsylvania -- but it could have been taken in many different places in this country. I don't know about you, but I think something's definitely wrong when you can set tap water on fire with a kitchen match.
