Congratulations "Juanita Jean"

I must congratulate one of my fellow Texas bloggers. Susan Duquesnay Bankston, who writes about the exploits of Juanita Jean (owner of the World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon), was chosen in her Senate District caucus to be a delegate to the Democratic National Convention. That's great Susan, and I hope you have a great time in Charlotte.

But the good news doesn't stop there. Susan was chosen as chairman of the Disability caucus -- and that position gives her a vote on the State Democratic Executive Committee. They have loosed the progressive fox inside the conservative chicken house. Now the fur and feathers will fly. I couldn't be more pleased.
