Many studies have shown a statistical relationship between gun ownership and homicide,BUT not a causal relationship. In other words there is no proof that getting rid of guns will lower the homicide rate. It will definitely lower the freedom rate however. If we did try this and discovered it did not lower violence would we ever get our guns back? No, we would be at the mercy of the authorities forever. I don't currently think we need to fear the authorities, but this might not always be true. This is why the founders gave us this right.
ANONYMOUS COMMENTS WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED. And neither will racist, homophobic, or misogynistic comments. I do not mind if you disagree, but make your case in a decent manner.
This is equally tragic.
