The government says you should talk to your children about marijuana. I have no problem with that. But the government doesn't want you to tell them the truth when you have that talk. They want you to tell your kids the lies and propaganda the government has been spreading for decades now. I do have a problem with that, and you should also. How can your children trust you about anything after they find out you have lied about something? And they will find out!
Kids who take sex education classes are less likely to get pregnant before graduating from high school.
ReplyDeleteBut kids who take drug awareness programs - particularly that DARE crap - are MORE likely to try drugs.
My guess is because educated kids see that the scare tactics regarding pot (and some of the other common stuff) are crap. The danger is that kids equate pot with stuff like meth because of these awful programs and end up getting hurt because of it!
I totally agree. Once kids see they have been lied to about marijuana, it will be easy for them to assume they have been lied to about other, more dangerous drugs.
