Infected

We humans, at least the modern variety, are probably the most dangerous thing this planet has encountered. We seem determined to kill off all life on the planet -- and we do it for money, corporate profits. Because we seem to have accepted the lie that nothing, not even life itself, is as important as corporate profits. And the idea of humans being a planetary infection is very fitting -- because our replication is damaging the planet just like a bacterial or viral infection damages the human body. The shame of it is that it doesn't have to be that way. Most of us just don't seem to care.
