In his first year of eligibility, Larry Allen has been selected to enter the NFL Hall of Fame. Allen was not only very popular with Cowboys fans (including me), but was one of the best offensive linemen the Cowboys have ever had. He was all-Pro in ten of his seasons with the Cowboys -- all but his rookie year of 1994 and the year he suffered an ankle injury (2002).
I congratulate Allen on his marvelous career with the Dallas Cowboys, and on this deserved honor of being selected to the Hall of Fame. Joining him in this year's Hall of Fame class are Bill Parcells, Chris Carter, Curley Culp, Dave Robinson, Jonathan Ogden, and Warren Sapp.
