Pew Survey On Same-Sex Marriage
I have been posting in the last few days on polls which show the extraordinary growth in support of equal rights for the LGBT community -- including same-sex marriage rights. The above graphs are from the Pew Research Center survey on this same issue (taken between March 13th and 17th of 1,501 nationwide adults -- with a 3 point margin of error). Note that while the Pew survey showed a smaller percentage in favor of legalizing same-sex marriage (49% to 58%) than the ABC/WP poll, both show that more people now favor it than oppose it -- and both polls show there has been remarkable growth in the number of people favoring it in the last decade. I won't say any more, since the graphs are pretty self-explanatory.
