There Is A Difference

  1. Both parties are corporate owned, and the difference is small, granted -- but there is a difference. Every now and then the Dems throw some crumbs to the people.

You realize, of course, that this is due to the Dems being union owned. Union wages are, by contract, tied to the minimum wage. So it's a pay-off to the union bosses for their loyalty. As always, follow the money.

    2. A pay-off to unions? You're letting your anti-union bias creep through. The truth is that the modern Democratic Party is as tied to corporations as to unions. The raising of the minimum wage is to restore the minimum wage buying power that has been lost since the late 1960's -- and would actually pull many families out of poverty and off the government roles (Food Stamps, etc.).

  2. I want to bitch slap them when they say that.
