Such a sweet and brilliant man! Having attended the UT-Austin School of Art back in the late 60s and 70s, I learned that there are so many kinds of people, each with their own talents and "differences". Most people go thru life not knowing that they have known someone who was gay or lesbian or bisexual or transgender. I feel fortunate to have known several very talented but very tortured LGBT people who had unfortunately resigned themselves to living in "the closet" forever. How sad that our society chooses to discard a beautiful life because of superficial lifestyle (and color) differences!
