Bigotry

Well put and very true. All forms of bigotry are the province of weak and small-minded people -- the kind of people who are so afraid to live their own lives that they screw everything up for the rest of us. Personally, I consider bigotry to be a violent crime (even if its just thought or spoken). I can understand that our Constitution guarantees free speech (even bigoted hate speech), but what I don't understand is why anyone (no matter how weak, fearful, or stupid) would want to engage in that type of behavior.
