A Dying Party
The Republican Party would like to think their recent failures are due to either a failure to properly communicate their values & beliefs or to changing demographics. Neither is really true, because both could be easily addressed. The truth is that no party can survive in a diverse country like the United States with a policy that is aimed at pleasing and addressing only one group -- older white men. Diversity is not something that can be opposed any longer in this country, but is a necessity for any party wanting to remain politically strong and viable.

I've heard the GOP is dying for awhile...enough of that talk, I wish they'd be dead already!!! No condolences when that happens, just good riddance!
ReplyDeleteMy greatest fear is that the Tea Party will take over when the Republican Party 'finally' kicks the proverbial bucket. But they won't croak for a long time yet so we need to make the Green Party funded and viable. They are going to have to be the catalyst against the TP. The TP and the Libertarians will be the opposition in about 50 years. That should be time enough.
