What I really can't understand is why is everyone just now discovering this? It has been going on since the 70s. I'm no economist but I have seen this theft going on for nearly 40 years. It started slowly and gathered momentum until now when we have little control over the entrenched political and economic system and changing or reversing course will be a monumental task if it is at all possible. It's like climate change. Everyone has buried their collective heads in the sand for 35 years and now it's time to pay the "piper".
