The medium grade climbs in stage 11 of this year's Tour weren't tough enough to destroy the peloton, but they did reduce it to only 35 riders (who all finished with the same time). First across the line was Tony Gallopin of France, marking his first stage win. John Degenkolb of Germany finished in second, and Matteo Trentin of Italy was the third place finisher.
Stage 12 should be a similar race, with only four medium grade climbs (two category 3 climbs and two category 4 climbs). Here are the current race standings:
