Shrinking Number Still Disapproves Of Individual Mandate
This chart was made from information in a new Rasmussen Poll. That survey was done on October 3rd and 4th of a random national sample of 1,000 likely voters, and has a margin of error of 3 points.
Obamacare supporters shouldn't be discouraged by this. It shows the opposition to the individual mandate is actually shrinking, and marks the first time (in my memory) that the opposition has fallen below 50%. It looks like Americans are finally starting to realize that Obamacare (most of which most people support) cannot exist unless everyone is on board -- and that the mandate only affects a tiny percentage of the total population (and that those affected can either afford to comply, or will receive a government subsidy to help them comply).
The Republicans tried to scare Americans into believing they would be forced to buy something they could not afford. That is now being exposed as the lie it always was. Obamacare is not perfect (and I still believe we need a single-payer system), but it is immensely better that what we had before it was passed.

It should be expanded and made more inclusive, How about just making it a USA health care system???
ReplyDeleteHave it cater to health issues that can be verified (I need my nose shorten to make me feel good is a NO).
And anyone who wants SPECIAL care can pay for it. Yes there will be problems but it is better than what we have now.
