New Polls For Iowa And Alabama On Presidential Race

Two new polls have been released for Iowa and Alabama. It is the Gravis Marketing Poll. They surveyed 507 Iowa Republicans (with a 4.4 point margin of error) and 1,616 Alabama Republicans (with a 2 point margin of error). 421 Democratic voters in Iowa were also surveyed (with a 4.8 point margin of error).

This polls seems to show that the race for Republicans has been narrowed to only two candidates right now. Donald Trump leads in both Iowa and Alabama, and Ben Carson is running a strong second. No other candidate could get 7% in Iowa, or 5% in Alabama. It's still early, and I'm sure this will probably change in coming months -- but it is amazing how low the "serious" candidates (Bush, Walker, Rubio, Cruz, etc.) are currently polling.

Travis only released a survey for Iowa on the Democratic side. It shows Hillary Clinton with a substantial lead of over 27 points.
