Poll States The Obvious - Clinton Has Huge National Lead
A couple of days ago, I showed you the results of Monmouth's national poll on the Republican race for president. The Monmouth University Poll has now released the results of that national poll for the Democratic race. The survey was done between December 10th and 13th of a random national sample of 374 registered Democrats, and has a margin of error of 5.1 points.
The results are no surprise. As other polls have shown, Hillary Clinton has a huge lead over her main opponent, Bernie Sanders. Sanders seems unable to improve on his support percentage, and in this poll, trails Clinton by 33 points.

I have a theory that all the war-mongering and fear-stoking by the GOP has helped HRC immensely. I would think she represents the safe choice who will be both strong on foreign policy and is not going to do anything stupid. In stark contract to the GOP candidates who seem to get more imbalanced by the day.
ReplyDeleteWhile Bernie's ideas all have strong populist support the GOP's rabid dog barking has moved the conversation away from his inequality message and into its current bizzaro world of fear and bomb everything.
