The Virgin Islands held their Democratic caucuses on Saturday (June 4th) -- and the big winner was Hillary Clinton.
Clinton got 92% of the vote on St. Croix, and 88% of the vote on St. Thomas -- the two biggest islands. Sanders won 54% of the vote on smaller St. John.
There were seven pledged delegates up for grabs in the Virgin Islands. It looks like Clinton will probably get six of those delegates. She already had four out of the five unplugged delegates (super delegates), so it looks like once the results are official, Hillary Clinton will claim ten out of the Virgin Islands' twelve delegates. That would move her to within 61 delegates of clinching the nomination.
