How U.S. Religious Groups View The Presidential Candidates
These charts were made from a recent survey by the Pew Research Center -- done between June 15th and 26th of a random national sample of 2,245 adults, with a margin of error of 2.4 points.
Note that Trump has a significant advantage with all protestants, White evangelicals, and White mainline protestants. Clinton has a large advantage with Black protestants, Hispanic catholics, and non-religious voters.
The chart I liked best is the bottom one. It shows that about 2/3rds of the American public (66%) opposes churches endorsing candidates. I agree. Any church that officially endorses a political candidate should have their tax-exempt status revoked.
