The polls just keep coming that show Hillary Clinton has opened a significant lead over Donald Trump. This one is the McClatchy / Marist Poll -- done between August 1st and 3rd of a random national sample of 983 registered voters, with a margin of error of 3.1 points.
This same poll showed that the Democratic Party is viewed more favorably than the Republican Party among registered. That bodes well for the Democrats running for Congress. Democrats have a 9 point advantage in favorable views, while Republicans have an 8 point disadvantage in unfavorable views.
