Donald Trump wants to give the richest Americans (and corporations) a huge tax cuts. That flies in the face of what most Americans want to see. Nearly two-thirds (63%) of the public wants taxes raised on the rich -- not lowered. And by a smaller margin (38% to 43%), they also oppose lowering taxes on corporations.
These numbers are from a recent Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between April 29th and May 2nd of a random national sample of 1,500 adults (including 1,255 registered voters), with a margin of error of 3.1 points.
