Twice As Many Say Race Relations Are Poor As Good
This chart reflects the results of a new Rasmussen Poll -- done on June 4th and 5th of a random national sample of 1,000 adults, and has a 3 point margin of error.
It shows that twice as many Americans believe race relations in the United States are poor than believe they are good (38% to 19%). Unfortunately, an even larger 43% either don't know (or don't care) about the state of race relations. That is why nothing is currently being done to make the situation better. Our politicians do nothing until they are forced to do so by public opinion, and right now too many members of the public are trying to ignore the race problems in this country.
