Just a few months ago, no one (but die-hard Democrats) thought it would be possible for the Democratic Party to become the majority party in the House of Representatives in 2018. But the incompetence displayed by the Republican-controlled Congress (even with a Republican in the White House) seems to be changing a lot of minds. The Republicans has displayed a huge level of incompetence to govern, and that now has a slim plurality of the public believing the Democrats could flip the House in 2018.
This is from a new Rasmussen Poll -- done between July 6th and 9th of a random national sample of 1,000 likely voters, with a 3 point margin of error.
If I was a Republican, I would start to worry -- especially considering the Rasmussen Poll is normally very kind to the Republican Party.
