Public Sentiment Is Growing For Impeaching Trump

This chart is from the latest poll done by the Public Religion Research Institute -- done between August 2nd and 8th of a random national sample of 2,024 adults, with a 2.7 point margin of error.

It shows that the public sentiment for impeaching Donald Trump and removing him from office is growing. Last February only 30% were in favor of impeachment, while 65% were opposed -- a gap of 35 points. But in August, those in favor of impeachment has grown to 40%, while 53% oppose that -- a gap of only 13 points. That gap has closed by a whopping 22 points.
